Workshop: Hand / Improver

Job Description

This vacancy would suit an individual with the aptitude to advance within engineering, some engineering experience preferable – in house training will be given.

PME Ltd manufacture parts from solid materials to a high specification, the role would be to help achieve the finishing of a product prior to dispatch with a degree of care in its appearance, this is gained by way of de-burring, straight graining and bead blasting.

The successful candidate would also have the opportunity to advance and learn many aspects of engineering within the company from our highly skilled team.

Office Vacancy

Job Description

Due to continual growth, an opportunity has arisen to join our busy office team – the position requires the successful candidate to be methodical and computer literate with good communication skills. They would also need to be diverse when required to assist in departments relative to the admin sector.

Responsibilities of this position includes:

  • Reception, including screening calls and taking detailed, accurate messages where necessary
  • Generating customer dispatch notes
  • Generating Job sheets from customer purchase orders
  • Monthly stationery inventories to ensure all stock is up to date and ordering when necessary
  • Gain experience in ordering material and tooling
  • Scanning, photocopying and filing.
  • Learn and document FAI Reports.
  • Updating the company data base
  • Generating spread sheets from the data base
  • Open and manage social media platforms
  • Office cover during staff holidays

Experienced CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter / Operator

Job Description

Due to increasing customer requirements, our current vacancies include a position to join our busy day shift team in the Milling section, the successful candidate must have CNC Milling experience, and be capable of reading customer drawings.

You would be expected to be able to work as part of a team and also under your own initiative producing quality parts, Industries including Pharmaceutical, Surveillance, Military and Motor Sport. Knowledge of Hurco control would be an advantage, but not essential.
